My far between posts! This one about Ebooks

I don't know about you guys but I love Ebooks they are so convienent. You never need to go to the bookstore, although I do love just browsing the shelves and the coffee. The price is right too, books have become so expensive -- hardbacks are too expensive for me and paperbacks are getting right up there too. And with Ebooks you don't have to figure out what to do with the books after you read them just delete and you are done. And Ebooks are green--not wasting paper. So think about ebooks the next time you are buying a book.

Books on Board is a wonderful place to get Ebooks, they have a great selection a large number of books (they have ALL the bestsellers) and the prices are great! -- here is the link to the home site to search for your favorite authors http://www.booksonboard.com/index.html Books on Board is having a contest now for a Sony Ebooks reader and here is the link http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?F=device_contest . Others sites to buy ebooks are Amazon and many other sites. Please consider Ebooks for your next purchase. Thanks for reading my latest soapbox stand.

I like e-books, but I much prefer the paper copy in my hands, so I can wander around and read it without being tethered. Just one gal's opinion!

And thanks for stopping by my blog during One World - One Heart! :-)

I just stopped by because you visited me for the OWOH connection. I have a Kindle from Amazon and your can carry it around and use the internet also. It is so much better than the Sony version which I researched both Kindle and Sony before I purchased. Kindle is just like holding a book and you have access to just about everything on Amazon.
So if someone is interested in one of these ebook format devices be sure you check out the Kindle before you buy...you can turn the pages, go back, go forward...it is so cool...but my favorite thing is that it will give you definitions to words as you are reading..I also like that you can make the print larger or smaller and you can get magazines and newspapers delivered right to you Kindle daily. These are the BOOKs of the future...I can see them being used in schools and I believe they are the libraries of the future.
Thank you for your kind words about my art and I have entered your name in my drawing.
